The 2nd day in Islamabad, 23.06.2001

Our second day in Islamabad brought some things forward regarding organization and preparation, but the most important things remain unsolved.

First of all, we got the message that our luggage has arrived completely. Yesterday, one told us that only 26 out of 30 items have arrived. This number increased to 29 at night. However, they did not deliver any beacause one item was still missing. This nigth we got the happy news that our luggage is complete. Because tomorrow is Sunday, we can get our luggage not before monday.

The Briefing at the Ministery of Tourisms will take on monday as well. Most of remaining tasks we could already realize. With the help of our friend Jehangir we could get some thousand stamps for ourGreeting Cards and a battery for power supply in our basecamp on cloudy days. Buying stamps was a very difficult adventure. In the main post office of both Rawalpindi (where live more than a million inhabitants) and the capital Islamabad there were nearly no stamps available.
